Chinese New Year

We made 'jiaozi' (dumplings) with the IB Chinese group, filling the wrappers and then cooking them. The group practiced eating with chopsticks and did really well!
The Years 8, 9 and 10 listened to a presentation in class by Samsong, the Chinese language assistant. They sang New Year songs and made 'hongbao', lucky red envelopes containing money, which Chinese children receive instead of presents.
