Intermediate Maths Challenge

The Intermediate Maths Challenge Results are now in school.  47 boys gained a Gold certificate, putting them in the top 5% nationally; 60 boys achieved Silver and 58 Bronze.  Many narrowly missed out on gaining a certificate but still achieved above average scores.  A list of those gaining certificates can be found on the Maths notice board or by clicking the link below.  Individual's scores are available from their Maths teacher.   

Congratulations to Mike Maddocks (10D) for achieving the highest score and qualifying for a place in the Olympiad.  Also qualifying for the Olympiad are Tom Shoolbraid (10B), Patrick Kidger (10G) and John Bate (9R).   A further 15 boys earned a place in the European Kangaroo - a multiple choice paper taken by hundreds of thousands of students across the continent. 

The Olympiad and Kangaroo will take place in the morning on Thursday 18^th March.  See Miss Burnham for practice papers.
