The Sixth Form at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School has a proven track record of exceptional academic performance and was rated ‘outstanding’ in every category in the latest Ofsted inspection. Expectations of students are high and the pace of lessons is demanding, but the rewards are also great: a large proportion of students secure places at the best universities every year. The facilities are excellent and continuously improving. Moreover, students overwhelmingly enjoy their experience in the Sixth Form. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive and there is a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities. Torquay Boys’ works closely with Torquay Girls’ Grammar School next door: study and social facilities, as well as some lessons, are mixed.
