This unit looks at the problems in Germany after the First World War, and how Hitler and the Nazis were able to take over. Key questions will include:
v Was the Weimar Republic doomed from the start?
v How did some young people show opposition to the Nazis?
v Did the Nazis cooperate or destroy the Churches?
v How did the Nazi persecution of German Jews escalate to the Final Solution?
