EXAM REVISION TIPS

EXAM PREP

  • Try to think that at least after the exam, you can relax and won't have to do any further revision - this will help you relax before the event too.
  • Get a good night's sleep - do not stay up till "all hours" revising unless you feel this is vital. A final review of topics and a review of your "strong" and "weaker" areas would be best.
  • Double check that you know what time the exam is!
  • Relax!

THE MORNING/ AFTERNOON OF THE EXAM

  • Get to the exam in plenty of time (about 15 mins before)! Being late will add stress! Being too early will leave you hanging around getting nervous!
  • Have a light breakfast or lunch - you need the energy... but too much will leave you bloated and what goes in must come out...
  • Make sure you have the right equipment for that specific exam and that it all works! A spare is always good!
  • Dont talk to anyone else who is stressed! Stress is contagious! Do your own thing!
  • BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR OWN ABILITY! If you've done the revision you'll be fine!
