The above grid shows the lessons when homework will be set. Transfer this information onto your timetable and into your diary.
- Music homework is 10 minutes of practice at least four times a week.
- Teachers may double-up homeworks, replacing two 30 minute homeworks with one 1 hour homework.
- As a guideline each unit of homework is intended to last 30 minutes – but this will vary from student to student.
- It is best to get into the habit of doing your homework on the day it is set, rather than the night before it is due in. This will enable you to produce high quality, unrushed work and will give you time to seek help from your teacher if necessary.
- If you miss the lesson when homework is set, find out what the homework is and try to complete it on time.
