- Acrylic Clock
Pupils will gain knowledge and experience of working with acrylic (Polymethylmethacrylate) as well as developing existing skills and understanding through designing and making an acrylic clock. A card prototype is first made and evaluated before students make the actual product. Although much of the work is carried out using hand and machine tools, pupils are able to make choices regarding alternative methods of manufacture such as the laser cutter and vinyl cutters.
