Year 9 Scheme

• MP3 Amplifier

Pupils will draw on their experience and skills gained in years 7 and 8 and develop these further through designing and making an personal music amplifier.  The project is divided into three sections;

• Case - Pupils make a wooden former and vacuum form a box.
• Circuit - Pupils solder in the electronic components into a pre manufactured PCB.
• Front panel - CAD CAM is used to design, model and manufacture a front panel from acrylic.
