Ways of Giving

Back to Main Page

There are many ways of making a gift and we appreciate that generosity is not related to the amount given. Whilst we do need major sponsors, a modest donation to help the School or a smaller monthly sum over 5 year or 10 years will make a real difference and are, of course, welcomed by the School with gratitude. The TBGS Charitable Trust has been set up to receive such donations in a tax efficient manner.

One-off donations

Undoubtedly the Cavanna Centenary Hall would not have been completed in the short timescale it took without one-off single donations from individuals, companies, trusts and other charitable organisations. Any future developments will equally rely on such support.

Regular donations from parents, friends and Old Boys.

Regular donations are the lifeblood of any charity; it knows its regular income and can budget more easily. Through their School Fund contributions, many parents already make donations on a regular basis, either monthly, quarterly or annually by bankers' orders. Others make termly donations by cash or cheque. Mindful that there are many demands on parents' incomes, we are always seeking donations from other friends or Old Boys who would like to help us in this way.

Sponsorship - Buy a Brick!
As part of our Centenary Hall, TBGS is offering Students, Staff, Parents and 'Old Boys' the opportunity to purchase a lasting memory for their time at TBGS. We will be building a permanent wall into the Centenary Hall, made up of personalised bricks purchased by you!
For £50 you have two lines of personalised text on your own brick, which will be included into the specially constructed wall. The Bricks will be laser engraved and painted with your chosen text. Funds raised from the sale of the bricks will go toward further equipping the Centenary Hall to provide a versatile and modern space for use by the Students at TBGS and the wider School Community.
