TEACHER OF ENGLISH (MPS)

A highly motivated, dynamic and inspirational specialist teacher of English is required to join a thriving, very successful and supportive team, with the opportunity to teach throughout the school.  An interest in Drama and/or Media Studies would be an advantage.  The Department is very well-resourced with its own new suite of rooms and English is one of the most popular options at AS and A2.  Applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers would be welcome.

TEACHER OF PHYSICS (MPS)

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Physics.  The successful applicant will participate in the delivery of Science to KS3 and Physics to KS4 and ‘A’ Level.  The Science department at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School has a number of purpose-built, well equipped laboratories and this will be a superb opportunity to work with able students within a supportive and highly committed team.  Applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers would be welcome.

TEACHER OF SPANISH (MPS)

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Spanish; the ability to offer a second language would be advantageous.  A willingness to participate in exchanges and visits is essential.  Torquay Boys’ Grammar School has an impressive record in public examinations and, as a Language College, is exceedingly well resourced.  The post offers outstanding opportunities to develop professional skills in a friendly and supportive environment.  Applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers would be welcome.
