Language Block

The Language Block has 8 classrooms in total, one of them being the ICT room which we use as an extra classroom for groups to go there once every fortnight which supports their learning of the languages in a different and more interactive way. The building also has three small rooms in which the Language Assistants have their sessions with the students in pairs or small groups.

Each classroom is equipped with DVD and video player, CD/cassette player and loudspeakers and 6 classrooms also have Interactive Whiteboards which are used to enhance the students’ learning of languages.

The Language Block also has a Café which is used for the Cooking Club as well as for meetings and events during the International Week of Languages.

 

 

ICT Room

LA3, the ICT Room in our block, is equipped an Interactive Whiteboard and 25 new computers. Headphones have been hooked on the wall so that students can use the Virtual Lab facilities to do language listening activities with the computer.
