The School Profile

The Education Act 2005 included a statutory requirement for governing bodies of all maintained schools in England to prepare and publish a school profile annually. This replaced the previous requirement to publish a Governors’ Annual Report.

The profile is intended to be a new and more effective way of conveying and comparing key information.
