The school uniform at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School is extremely important to us, as it instils a great sense of pride and identity in our students.
In Years 7 – 11, the uniform consists of a navy blazer with House badge, dark grey trousers (with traditional belt), white school shirt, black school shoes, dark socks and House tie. In addition, students may wear an optional black ‘V’ neck pullover.
In the sixth form, all students, male and female, wear a black blazer or jacket, white school shirt or blouse, black trousers or plain black skirt or black work dress, black work-appropriate shoes, dark socks, and optional plain black V-necked pullover and plain black tights. Boys’ wear the school badge sewn on to blazers, and the sixth-form tie. Girls’ jackets should have the school lapel badge in their House colour. Girls may wear the tie if they choose.
Uniform can be purchased from high street shops, Riviera Schooldays or Torre Sports. The badge and tie are available from the school shop.
As well as the standard school uniform, all of our Boys will require a separate PE kit in years 7-11, as shown in the PDFs below. This is available from Riviera Schooldays and Torre Sports.
Please note, if your son is in receipt of Free School Meals, the school will contribute financially towards the cost of uniform items for new entrants to the school at year 7. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
